Who you are
As an Optimization Manager at Flashfood, you’ll have the opportunity to lead a high performance team. The optimization team leads our operations with partners across North America. This position is perfect for an experienced manager who has a track record of success. From the start, you’ll be instrumental in leading and coaching the team that supports our grocer partners on their mission to reduce food waste. You’ll develop the strategy to optimize results and eliminate food waste. Supporting and empowering the team to reach their goals is the key to success.

- Experience working in retail, CPG or a marketplace company considered an asset
- Hunger for continuous improvement. You love to learn and you try to get better every day
- Amazing prioritization skills. You relentlessly prioritize your time to focus on things that will make the biggest impact
- Experience owning P&L considered an asset
- A degree or equivalent; MBA or advanced degree a plus
Travel Expectations
Although the current COVID-19 situation has decreased the travel requirements for this role, as it mostly done remotely, the following requirements should still be considered:

What you will need
- Manage and coach a high performing team of Optimization Leads
- Develop growth opportunities for your Optimization team
- Build and evolve strategies to create strong relationships with grocers
- Steer performance and revenue optimization to reach profitability targets
- Identify opportunities to improve optimization effectiveness. Coordinate cross-functionally to deliver process improvements, playbooks, toolkits, and skills development
- Work alongside insights team to build reliable data-driven insights and recommendations for our grocer partners
- Own optimization P&L
- Collaborate with the Support and Success team to enhance our partner and shopper experience
- Work with the Partnerships team to ensure our partners executive teams maintain a positive impression of Flashfood
- Work with the Implementation Manager to establish smooth transition processes
- Be the face of Flashfood with our partners, exhibiting confidence and clear communication
