Ideally, some meaningful experience as it relates to a consumer app, D2C brand or B2B2C business. You understand the consumer side of a marketplace. You have experience, 7-10 years, maybe less, maybe more? Something meaningful. You may also have less years of experience but have accomplished a lot that would satisfy the year requirements.
Your communication and professionalism to deal with fortune 100 partners is excellent. You have a strong desire for your team to win. You say ‘we’ instead of ‘I’. The underlying ‘want’ to take your experience in your field and help expand a business model proven to make companies greater profit while feeding families more affordably and collectively reducing the harmful environmental effects of food waste.
You’ll be a member of the executive team, owning the consumer marketing side of the business (and some parts of the B2B side). Leading demand generation, shopper insights and using data to inform decision-making for your team turning on new markets and ensuring success. Paid acquisition channels, paid social, press, referrals/credits and all areas of shopper growth will fall under your watchful eye. You’re going to own the entire marketing business and manage a growing team (of 4).
